1. Technical Assistant (Library)/Assistant Librarian : 2 post
Pay Scale : 9300-34800 GP-4400
Fix Pay Five years : Rs.38090/-
Qualification : 
(1) A degree of any of the universities or Institution established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India.
AND
(2) A Master degree in Library and Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale
(3) Possess a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of a Library.
(4) Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
(5) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
(6) Have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
