University Library, Central University of Kerala is organizing two dayNational level Workshop on 'Design and Development of Digital Library Using DSpace' during 25-26 October 2018.

*The workshop will cover:*

•Overview of Institutional Repository and Digital Library

•Introduction to Metadata Standards

•Installation of OS (Ubuntu)

•Installation of DSpace and Configuration

•Administration & Customization

•DSpace workflows, creating collections and communities

•OAI-PMH and UNICODE

•Backup, export and import of data

•IPR Requirements

The sessions will be handled by the experts from the institutes of national

importance.

*Target participants*

Maximum seats allotted are 30 and seats are allotted on based on first come

first serve basis. Professionals from Library and Information Science,

Library practitioners, Academicians, Research Scholars, and Students can

attend this workshop.

*Registration Fee*

The registration fee for the participation will be Rs. 2000/- and paid

through Demand Draft. The DD will be drawn infavor of, Central University

of Kerala, payable at Kasaragod. Registration fee can be paid through NEFT
