The Raman Research Institute, Bangalore is looking for a "Library Trainee". Candidates interested in acquiring hands on exposure to new paradigms in the profession may apply. The position is temporary for a period of six months and likely to be extended up to 2 years after performance review.

Selection criteria:

Essential: The candidate must have an MLISc degree with excellent academic record. He/she must demonstrate good English communication skills.

Desirable: Candidates with working knowledge and experience in the usage of computers, and with experience in library and information services will be preferred.

Stipend: Rs 20,000 per month in the first year

Rs 21,000 per month in the second year

Upper age limit is 30 years
