Programme Schedule:

All the  TCS/SALIS Volunteers /Members are requested to assemble at

8.AM on 10.10.2015 in front of Dr. MGR Janaki Deaf and Dumb School, [ Mount-Poonamallee Road, opp.to SBI and near to Late Dr. MGR Ramavaram Garden]. The details of the programme will be explained in details.

Tea and Snacks will be served at 8 A.M.

Methodology: Each volunteer has to visit 10 houses in Ramapuram  Area and explain the the importance Dr. Kalam’s Home library and also the Reading Habit

** This programme will be organized again on 17^th ,24^th 31^st of October 2015 in various localities in Chennai

"OPEN ACCESS: Redefining ACCESS TO KNOWLEDGE"

In this Program we Would like to have talks on OA Journals, OA BOOKS, OA TEXTBOOKS  OA ARCHIVES, OA REF SOURCES, Open SOURCE SOFTWARE,. OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES ETC. Will we also have a talk on Cc. Will we have talk on OA Resources in agriculture, OA RESOURCES IN LAW. We shall try to do as Best as possible to create Awareness and try to Motivate the Librarians to Provide access to OA Resources
