Workshop on Dspace at Bantwal, Mangalore

Sri Venkataramana Swamy College, Bantwal, Mangalore, Karnataka is organising aTwo-Day UGC Sponsored National Workshop on "Developing Digital Library using DSpace" in collaboration with Dakshina Kannada & Kodagu Library Association.

 

Date :August 6th & 7th, 2015

 

TARGET PARTICIPANTS:

Library & Information Science professionals, Academicians, IT professionals, Research Scholars and Students of Library and Information Science, Persons interested in Library and Information Science Activities.

 

OPERATING PLATFORM & METHODOLGY:

Lecturers, demonstration, discussions and extensive practical sessions will be available.

 

RESOURCE PERSONS:

The workshop sessions will be handled by experts from reputed academic institutions.

A maximum of 40 particiapants will be permitted, Admission is on first-come-first-serve basis.

Last date for receipt of the completed Registration form: 25^th July 2015.

Confirmation date for the candidates: 29^th July 2015

 

 

The registration fee is to be paid by Demand Draft / Cheques drawn from any Nationallized Bank in favour of the "The Principal, S.V.S. College, Bantwal", payable at Bantwal/B.C. Raod/Mangalore. Kindly ensure that the cheques are CTS complaint format.

 

For outside participants accommodation will be arranged at decent hotels in the range of Rs. 900/- Rs. 1000 per day, (Sharing or individual) on payment of the same and information in advance.

 

The Registration fee includes workshop kit (Training materials, and Certificate), Refreshment, Lunch.
