University of Kerala invites applications from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of University Librarian (1 post open category).
Essential Qualifications:
(i) Masters Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation with atlesat 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.
(ii)At least 13 years experience as Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18years experience as College Librarian.
(iii)Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published works.
Desirable Qualification:
M.Phil/Ph.D in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/ Archives and Manuscript Keeping.
Scale of pay: Rs 37400-67000/ with AGP of Rs.10,000/
Age: Not more than 50 years as on 01.01.2015
