About the workshop
This workshop is aimed to foster the skills and competencies in the application of research methods that students and academicians are expected to acquire. The training program will raise the general level of skills and knowledge amongst faculty and research scholars of social science and humanities by ensuring that they acquire, and can apply, basic and advanced quantitative and qualitative research skills that are responsive to the needs of social science subject areas and disciplines.
The highlight of this workshop is the sound hands-on training on SPSS, an international software package for statistical analysis. Three days of the workshop are dedicated to the theory and practice sessions on SPSS.

·         Methods of data collection, measurement and scaling techniques
