Essential Qualification: (1) Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ documentation with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent. (2) 5 years’ experience in a responsible position in an academic library. (3) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library. (The point No. 3 above indicates that – the applicant is expected to have a proven record of implementing new ideas in library service and experience of working in IT enabled library of an educational and research organization)
Desired Qualification: a) M. Phil/ Ph.D. degree in Library science / Information Science/Documentation/ Archives & Manuscript keeping. b) an experience of working in Computerized Library.
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600 - 39100, AGP- 8000/-
Age limit: Below 50 years
