Application are invited for the post of  Deputy librarian in Indian
Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar)

No. of Post and  Pay Band: Deputy Librarian (UR: 1) : Rs.15600-39100 with
AGP of Rs.8000.

Minimum Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Library science/ information
science/ documentation, with atleast 50% marks, and a consistently good
academic record.

Desirable: M.Phil./Ph.D degree in Library science/information
science/documentation/archives & manuscript - keeping; knowledge of library
computerization, evidence of innovative library service, professional
commitment and relevant publications.

Minimum Experience: At least 9 years of work experience as Assistant
Librarian including 5 years in senior scale with AGP of Rs. 7,000/- or an
equivalent position at an University or reputed Institute Library.

Age limit: 53 years as on last date of submitting application.
