Pay Scale: Rs
17100 p.m. in the scale of Rs 17100- Rs 33200 and emoluments of Rs 44047 along
with the allowances as applicable.
Eligibility:
Educational Qualifications: The candidates should have a bachelor degree in Arts/
Commerce/ Science and master degree in Library Sciences/ Library &
Information Science of a recognized university or institution for getting
selected in the post of Assistant Librarian. The applicants should have a
second class master degree in Modern Indian History and diploma in Archival
Studies from a recognized university for getting selected in the post of
Assistant Archivist.
Experience Required: The candidates should have at least three years of professional
experience in any library under Central/ State Government/ Autonomous or
Statutory organization/ PSU/University or any other recognized educational
institutions for Asst. Librarian post and two years of research in Modern
Indian History/ teaching of Modern Indian History for getting selected in Asst.
Archivist posts.
Age Limit: The
age of all the participating candidates should lie in between 21 to 30 years as
on September 1st 2015.
Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in interviews.
