Leadership and expertise in design, development & management of library and information centers. Organizing and managing and disseminating e-literacy.

2.   Role in providing digital Information technologies & Services:

Social Networking, Cloud Computing; Mobile Technologies, Web-based Applications and technologies. Library Portals, RFID, Semantic Web; Open Source Software, Multimedia Applications, Digital Communication Tools, Virtual Reference Services, Institutional Repositories Content Management/Development.

3.  Role as E-Resource Managers        

 Networking of libraries/Information Centers, consortia and resoure sharing 

 

4.  Proactive/hands on Information Professional Role:

 Marketing of Library Services, Library best Practices

 

5.Information Literacy Programmes :

Role in the conducting and developing e-learning, teaching information literacy to knowledge workers in traditional or Internet-based instruction modules.

 

6.      Role in education/LIS education and Research.

 

7.      Library facilities /Services/Maintenance.

 

Instructions for Authors:

Authors should send their papers not exceeding 3000 words with abstracts (300words) and key terms in MS-Word 2003-2007 with font size 12 in Times New Roman  with APA style on or before 15^thDecember 2014 with 1.5 line spacing in soft and hard copy along with the registration fee. Decision of the Editorial Committee will be final regarding selection of papers for publications with registration fees in proceeding with ISBN. Full length papers with abstracts are to be sent to mail: rolmesangamner@gmail.com  on or before 15^thh December 2014

Registration:

1.Participants should send registration fee RS. 300 /-  well in advance with filled in registration form and hard copy of paper along with the DD on nationalized bank  in favor of “ Principal, Sangamner College, Sangamner, ”Payable at sangamner, should reach to The Principal, S.N.Arts, D.J.M.Commerce and B.N.Sarada Science College, Sangamner, Dist-Ahmednagar, 422 605.

2. Spot registrations are also available.

3. No TA/DA will be paid to the participants.

 

This seminar will provide an excellent platform to library professionals to share their views on technological advances and its usefulness in the shaping libraries of the future.  Authors are requested to contribute to the profession by actively participating in the conference.
