Educational Qualification:
 Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with CGPA of 6.5 in 10-point scale or at least 60% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service.
 Desirable: PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLAN), PGDCA, PGDLIM or equivalent. Proficiency in using ICT tools like content management systems, automation, digital library, plagiarism detection and e Resource Management tools.
 Age not exceeding 45 years (Includes admissible age relaxation of 10 years for PWD Category). Additional age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates (PWD) and additional age relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidates (PWD) will be considered as per the Government of India norms.
Experience:
At least five years of experience in the library of a Technical / Scientific Institute or University, Educational Institute of National Importance, or any other large Technical / Scientific library. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.

Essential Qualification & Experience:

Any Graduation and Masters or equalent qualifications in Library Science or

Graduation and Bachelors in Library Science with atleast one year relevant experience in library after Graduation in Libary Science

Candidate should have sound working knowledge in computers and working experience in fully automated library preferbly in “Koha” and “Dspace”. Good communication skills in writing and speaking of English is desired.

If candidate is having Graduation in Computer Science preference will be given and also exempted from one year expereience.
