1) Post : Librarian

No. of post : 01 UR
Age Limit : Preferably below 55 years
Qualification & Experience :
i. Master Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed;
ii. At least 10 years’ as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years’ of teaching as Assistant/ Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years’ experience as a College Librarian;
iii. Evidence of innovative Library services, including the integration of ICT in a library;
iv. A Ph.D. Degree in library science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript keeping.
2) Post : Deputy  Librarian
No. of Post : 01 (UR)
Age Limit : 55 years
Qualification & Experience :
i. Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science, with a least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed;
ii. Eight years’ experience as an Assistant University Librarian/ College Librarian;
iii. Evidence of innovative Library services, including the integration of ICT in a library;
iv. A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation Science/ Archives and manuscript keeping/ computerization of library.
3) Post : Professional Assistant
No. of Post : 01 UR PwD (VH)
Qualification & Experience :
Essential:Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognised University / Institute with two years’ experience in the relevant field in a university /research establishment/Central/State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library.
OR
i. Bachelor's degree in Library/ Library  Information Sciences from a recognised University /Institute;
ii. Three years’ experience in the relevant field in a university/research establishment /Central /State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library;
iii. Knowledge of Computer applications.

Desirable:
PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.
4) Post :  Library Assistant
No. of Post : 02 (UR)
Age Limit : 32 years
Qualification & Experience :
Essential:
i. Bachelor’s degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science from a recognized university;
ii. Knowledge of computer applications;
iii. Typing speed of 30 wpm in English.
Desirable:
Two years’ relevant experience in a Library of repute, and good knowledge of Library Software Applications
5) Post :  Library Attendant
No. of Post : 01 (UR)
Age Limit : 32 years
Qualification & Experience :
Essential:i. 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board;
ii. Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institution;
iii. Relevant experience of one year.

Desirable:
Basic knowledge of computer applications.
