1. Librarian : 1 postPay Matrix : Level 14 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs. 1,44,200/- to 2,18,200/-) (UGC Pay Matrix)
Age : Upto 50 years
Essential Qualification :
(i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science /Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point’s scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
(ii) At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian.
(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.
(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance
Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff and Measure for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2010. (4th Amendment dated 11.07.2016) as prescribed in the Appendix – III Table VII shall be applicable.

Deputy Librarian completing service of three years in the AGP of Rs. 9000 and otherwise eligible as per
the API scoring system and PBAS methodology developed in UGC Regulations, 2016 (4th Amendment) with a Ph.D
