Application are invited for the post of Project Associate and Project Assistant (library) on temporary basis, to strengthen the library services at IIT Bhilai. The candidate will join an innovative team of library who are actively engaged in providing the information services to the user community for their research activities, teaching and learning mission of the institute.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION a. A Master Degree in Library and Information Science/Documentation
with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC SEVEN
POINT SCALE.
2. A minimum of 6 Year’s experience in any Institutions of National
Importance.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION a. One year post graduate degree/diploma in Computer Applications such
as PGDCA/PGDLAN from a University or equivalent institute.
b. Qualifying in National Level Test Conducted by the UGC

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: a. BLISc/MLISc from an UGC recognized institution.
b. Familiarity with emerging information technologies and ILMS (any
Library Management Software). Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Clear understanding of commitment to library
user services function.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: One or Two years working experience in a reputed research or educational institutes. IITBhilai Library opens beyond office hours, the selected candidates should be willing to work in shift duty.
