Applications are invited in the prescribed format to fill up One Post of
Library & Information Assistant
(OBC), General Central Service Group “C” Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
1. Name of the Post : LIBRARY & INFORMATION ASSISTANT

3. Pay Band & Grade Pay : (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200.
4. Mode of recruitment : Direct Recruitment
5. Educational and other : ESSENTIAL:
Qualifications required.
i) Graduate of a recognized University.
ii) Diploma or Certificate in Library Science.
DESIRABLE: One year’s practical experience of work
in a Library.
6. Age limit: : Age between 18 to 25 years and also relaxable in the
case of SCs/STs/OBCs as per rules. (Relaxable upto 35
years incase of Govt. Servant)
7. Office/Department and : Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs,
Address NATIONAL CIVIL DEFENCE COLLEGE, 61/1, Civil Lines,

The Officer to whom National Civil Defence College,

9. Place of work. : Nagpur at present but may be transferable any where
in India.
