Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites applications for recruitment of Scientific Officer Gr.-II, Senior Scientific Officer, Scientific Officer Gr.-I, Medical Officer, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Sports Officer, Deputy Librarian & Librarian in Roorkee. Last date for application is 30th October 2015.

Assistant Librarian - 01

Educational Qualification: A Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record and at least 05 years of relevant experience.

Pay Scale: INR Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6000/-

Deputy Librarian - 01

Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC Seven point scale and a consistently good academic record. Five year's experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work, professional commitment and computerization of a library.

Pay Scale: INR Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.8000/-

Librarian - 01

Educational Qualification: A Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.

Pay Scale: INR Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.10000/-
