Workshop on NPTEL
NPTEL sponsored one day workshop on National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (Study Centre) jointly with NPTEL, IIT Madras on 24.04.2015
Friday at our Central Library, National Engineering College, K.R.Nagar,
Kovilpatti – 628 503.
NPTEL has initiated
certification for full semester (40 Hours) courses created so far and for
courses offered on the model of MOOCs (20 Hours) on its online courses portal https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in.
The objective of enabling students to obtain certificates from courses is to
make students employable in the industry or pursue a suitable higher education
programme.
NPTEL would like to conduct a 3 hour face to face
meeting (10.30 AM - 1.30 PM) with representatives from colleges and explain
what we mean by a study centre, what the requirements from the college would
be, how the college would benefit from this initiative etc., and also get
feedback from them as to what they would like to see incorporated and their
ideas on the same.
Eligibility: Engineering, Science & Management faculties / Library Professionals / Principals / HODs etc…
Registration fee: There is No registration fee for the workshop.
Note:
Travel Allowance (TA) &
Workshop Kit would be provided
to all
the
participants
as per NPTEL
rules and regulations. Only outstation participants are eligible for Travel
Allowance as per NPTEL norms. NPTEL will not be able to reimburse participants for accommodation. Participation certificate will be given to all the
participants.
