Workshop on Dspace at Aurangabad


  
 Three Days National Level workshop on “Design & Development of Institutional Repository using Dspace

Dated on 5th to 7th February 2015.

Knowledge Resource Center Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (MS)

 DSpace is one of the most popular Open Source Software in the world according to Directory of Open Access Repository (DOAR), out of the 2728 registered Repositories, 1161 (42.6%) are using DSpace, developed jointly by MIT Libraries and HP labs for developing Digital Libraries or Institutional Repositories.
     
         Participants of the workshop will get Hand-on-Experience of DSpace Installation on Ubuntu Operating System, Development of Communities and Collections and, Customization of DSpace, Backup / Restore, etc.. Each participant will be provided with a dedicated machine.
