SHRI B. M. PATIL MEDICAL COLLEGE, HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH CENTRE, BIJAPUR

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following posts
1. CHIEF LIBRARIAN
PhD. In Library Science, Experience of documentation work in a responsible capacity with 10 years of experience. Training in Medical Librarianship, working knowledge of Medical University/Health Science Library preferred.
2.DEPUTY LIBRARIAN
Qualifications:
i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
ii. 5 years of experience as an Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian.
iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library.
iv. Desirable: M.Phil / Ph.D. degree in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript keeping / computerization of library.
3. ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN
Qualifications:
i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
ii. Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC
v. Desirable: M.Phil. / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript keeping / Computerization of library.
