Essential Qualification:

i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record.

ii. At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian. Preference will be given to candidate having experience of university or institute of national reputes.

iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.

Desirable Qualification:

i. M.Phil/Ph.D degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation /archives and manuscript keeping.

ii. Knowledge of e‐Resource Acquisition and Management.

iii. Practical knowledge DSpace Institutional Repository software.

iv. An expertise of content management software like JOOMLA or Drupal.

v. Proficiency in Liberty‐Library Management Software.

1.       Project Associate – Library Science (PA- LS)

Abstracts should be limited one A4 size page and contain the title of the paper, name of the author, institutional affiliation, email address and approximately five keywords in addition to the text of 250-300 words. Times New Roman in 12-point font size can be used for the text and it should be sent in both Word and PDF formats.
