Walk-in-Interview for Library Science PG Trainee at CSIR-SERC on 23.3.2015
Qualification: Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) with First Class
Salary: 10,000 /- per month
Period: 1 year. May be extended for another 1 year.
Age should not exceed 28 years as on the date of interview (relaxable in the case SC/ST/OBC/Women as per GOI instructions.)
Interested candidates are requested to bring their applications as per along with recent passport
size photo enclosing attested copies of certificates and testimonials and walk-in for Interview on
23rd March 2015 between 09.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. at this Centre.
No separate call letter will be sent for interview. No TA/DA will be paid. Candidates reporting later than 11
a.m. will not be considered.

About the Programme
Plagiarism is considered as a form of misconduct in scholarly communications. You, as a researcher, must have heard about it; or you might know what it is. However, there exists ambiguity about it in academic community. When does plagiarism occur? Is there any established percentage to determine when plagiarism has taken place? Is there a rule of thumb to determine plagiarism? Are there different types of it? What may be the consequences if plagiarism is detected? How to avoid it? This workshop aims to address these types of questions. Use of reference manager can be a powerful addition to your research activities.
