As soon as the application opens, ask
the user to take a photograph of the title page of the book to be
classified and catalogued, using a mobile phone.
You may also ask the user to
photograph the verso (copyright) page of the book and attach it, if
required, to obtain complete bibliographic information.
All photographs taken shall be
uploaded for further processing.
The system should be able to analyze
and understand the images, and then:

Classify the book
by assigning a DDC number (latest edition)

Add an
appropriate Cutter number
·
Generate the complete
call number
Next, generate subject headings
according to the Sears List of Subject Headings.
After that, prepare the bibliographic
metadata according to AACR2.
Once the results are displayed, also display
a virtual catalogue card (Main Entry).
