Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre is pleased to announce and invite academics to participate in Three Days National Workshop on Organizing Research with Reference Management Tools.

Aims and Objectives of the Workshop:

The aim of this workshop is to give the participants a sound overview of reference management tools and their usefulness in organizing research. Use of reference management tools like Zotero, Mendeley and EndNote are very helpful to create research workspace & carry out research works, creation & organize bibliographies, to construct references while writing research, collaborating and discovering new research. These standard tools can reduce the task of writing bibliographies, references manually while writing research, thereby cutting the time, human efforts & errors in the part of research scholars.

Major Topics:

The following major topics will be covered in the workshop:

Ø  Introduction to Research and Research Ethics

Ø  Use of Reference Management Tool- Zotero with "hands-on-practice"

Ø  Use of Reference Management Tool- EndNote with "hands-on-practice"

Ø  Use of Reference Management Tool- Mendeley with "hands-on-practice"

        Ø Referencing / Citing Sources and Avoiding Plagiarism, Use of "URKUND" anti-plagiarism s/w.
