Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science with at least 55% marks from a recognized University and a good academic record; M. Phil/ Ph. D Degree in Library Science/ Information Science; NET and qualifications as per UGC norms, Minimum of 15 years of Library /teaching experience of which at least 5 years experience as a Deputy/ Librarian in a University Library or 10 years experience as Assistant Librarian in a University/ Reputed College/Institution; Experience of innovative library services, organization and knowledge of current technologies in digital and web-based library services; Published work and professional commitment will be given due consideration; Excellent interpersonal skills.
Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 with GP Rs.8,000/-

experience in Library work in a reputed educational institute, of which 3
years shall be as Senior Library Information Assistant/ Library
Information Assistant or equivalent post in the Pay Scale of .9300-34800
